The Windsor Express at West Gate!

Today, during period 3, the Windsor Express Basketball Team sent 4 players and their coach to come to West Gate Public School to talk to the Grade 4-8 classes about setting goals. During their visit, the players talked about setting goals for the future by writing them down. They also told us to not give up on our goals even if we are not successful the first time. We need to have persistence to meet our goals. We really enjoyed their message about having a Growth Mindset.

At the end of the assembly, the Express played a few games of basketball with some kids from the crowd. After many dazzling dunks, fade away jumpers, and dribbling magic, the Express autographed season calendars and gave everyone a free ticket to attend a Windsor Express game!
